Walk 4 Faith with Into the Field!
|
On May 21, Into the Field will be participating in a great fundraiser - Walk4Faith. This event provides an opportunity for smaller ministries to rally supporters to solicit donations ($1, $5, $20, $____) and participate in a fun 5k walk/run through the Columbus Zoo.
We would LOVE to have you join us - either as a walker on our team or as a donor! When we're done with the walk, we'll have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful day and hangout with the animals!
Every dollar raised will return to benefit Into the Field! The dollars from this event will specifically be used for our trip this summer to a special needs orphanage in China! Help us to be a blessing to these special children!

"Infinitely More"
|
On March 9, Alex Krutov shared the story of his life as an orphan in Russia with attendees at The Gathering's Spring Gathering. Those who were there had hearts touched as they were given a glimpse into the way that God has used a baby found in a trash can to overcome hurdles and obstacles and be victorious. Alex and his ministry - The Harbor - are impacting many, many lives around the world.
If you missed it, you're not out of luck. Alex's story is available in his just published book (available March 28) - "Infinitely More"! A story filled with tears as well as laughter, you will marvel and celebrate the unyielding presence and direction of God in the life of Alex.

Good 360! Wooohooo!

It is always a great day when you come across others who are striving to do good! And even more so when the work that they are doing enhances the work that you are doing!
Good360 is the "world’s largest online donation marketplace, where product donations from America’s top brands and retailers become goods for the greater good."
If you are involved with a ministry which needs clothes, paper products, office supplies, toys, cleaning products, and much more, you will want to check them out! Some of the products are available to 501c3 organizations at a significantly discounted rate (or "admin fee") and others are FREE!
Into the Field just received a FREE pallet of brand new Fisher Price toys which will be distributed out to children and ministries which we work with locally! (NOTE: pallets may arrive in extra large semi trucks which cannot always manouver into parking lots and require creative on-your-toes thinking of how to get the toys/product off the truck and to your storage destination...)

My plan. His plan. Often they're disconnected from each other. And then I'm reminded that His will always trump mine. So one of these days I may just decided to acquiesce and stop fighting him. What about you?
