Eat & Drink for Into the Field...

Some fun plans are quickly in the works...like good food and a cold beer?  Stay tuned and you'll learn how you can do both to benefit Into the Field!
Kroger Card Update Needed!
First, thank you to those of you who have supported Into the Field with your Kroger Plus Card!  Throughout the last year, Kroger has donated $5 million to 501c3 non-profit organizations and Into the Field is excited to have received a small portion of that!  We'd love to get a larger portion this year!  It's easy and free...just shop, swipe your Kroger Plus Card, and earn money for Into the Field!  Kroger simply donates a percentage based on what you spend in the store and at the gas pump.

Each year Krogers requires that individuals "re-affiliate" their cards with their non-profit of choice in order that donations continue to be given.

Meet Maken

Eyes Wide Open International serves widows and orphans in crisis around the world.  Their first team was on-site in Haiti 8 days after the earthquake, and has been back four times since.  While there, they met Maken, a little boy who lost his family during the earthquake and had become one of the thousands of boys living on the street.  "Mack", as you can see, has one of those contagious smiles, which infects all those around him, and comes from his special faith in God.  It was discovered that amongst several other physical challenges, Mack has severe heart problems which could not be fixed in Haiti.  After many, many, hours of work, meetings and conversations with important contacts, and lots of prayer, David and Nicolle Bompart were granted legal guardianship, and the Haitian and US governments approved a "Humanitarian Parole" for him to come to the US to receive his critically needed surgeries.  He (along with Nicolle) is in Tampa at St. Joseph Children's Hospital (which is generously donating its services) and is ready to be made well. Please pray for Mack as he experiences many new things here in the US, that his anxieties and fears would be eased, that Nicolle and David would be equipped to love and serve him through this, and that the doctors and nurses caring for him would be wise and skilled in their plan and its execution.  This little boy will have quite a testimony to share!

Something to Consider...

"But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this?  Everything comes from you, and we have given only what comes from your hand."
I Chronicles 29:14

What do you see?

When you take a look around you, what do you see?  Do you see things that bring you passion and purpose, do you see a bunch of "stuff", or do you see a combination?  How does what you see impact your attitude and approach?
