Orphan Care in China
|
June 9-21, 2011 Into the Field will be leading chinaconnect's Orphan Care Team to a private special needs orphanage in China. We will be giving and receiving love, conducting VBS-like activities, and serving as needed. Will you consider joining us for this special time with these special kids? In the Arms of Angels

 Believing that every life is precious and deserving of respect, Back in His Arms Again (BIHAA) serves families and communities with faith, prayer, education, and compassion, through the loss of an infant.
During a time of grief and pain, Back in His Arms Again is a ministry of collaborative resources providing care, compassion, faith, guidance, and support to those experiencing loss as well as those providing care.
On March 4, 2011, Into the Field will be walking alongside Back in His Arms Again as it hosts In the Arms of Angels - an evening of introduction and celebration of this great ministry. We invite you to join us for hors d'oeuvres, silent auction and the sharing of the BIHAA story and of the angels they serve. Team Up 4 Orphans! Run 4 Their Lives!
|
Into the Field is once again partnering with doma International for it's charity running team - Team Up 4 Orphans - which will participate in the May 7, 2011 Cap City Half Marathon (which includes 5k and 1/4 marathon races) in Columbus, Ohio.
Join us as we raise funds (while having a lot of fun!) for the projects and programs of doma which seek to embrace children and empower women around the world!

We're told that we're to go out and serve. We're told to go and share our faith. How? Where? To whom? I think the answer is in every way, everywhere, to everyone. Sometimes it's around the corner; sometimes you have to go all the way around the world. Sometimes you're using words; many times the words are unspoken and the gesture is simple and subtle. Sometimes we end up being served by those for whom we go to care.
I'm preparing to head out and serve some whom the world would consider "the least of these." Maybe you'll join me? Visit my blog for some of my additional thoughts about this.
